The Madhesh Provincial government has officially declared a public holiday across the province today, Wednesday, June 11, 2025.
The Ministry of Home Affairs, Communications, and Law of Madhesh Province issued a formal press release confirming the holiday to mark Kabir Das Jayanti, a day commemorating the revered poet and saint Kabir Das.
Earlier, the Madhesh Provincial Government’s official gazette had also announced the declaration of the holiday in recognition of this significant occasion.
Residents and businesses throughout Madhesh Province are advised to observe the holiday accordingly.
