Butlin’s Bognor Regis has been nominated for two national accolades at the 2025 British Travel Awards, reinforcing its reputation as one of the UK’s top holiday destinations.
The seaside resort is competing in the categories of Best Company for UK Parks and Lodges Holidays and Favourite Company for Radio Advertisement. The British Travel Awards are among the most prominent consumer-voted travel honours in the UK, celebrating excellence across the travel and tourism industry.
Jon Hendry Pickup, CEO of Butlin’s, welcomed the recognition, saying:
“We’re delighted to be shortlisted in two categories at this year’s British Travel Awards. As the Home of Entertainment, we’re all about giving our guests memorable holidays and have invested significantly at our three resorts.”
Recent upgrades at the Bognor Regis site reflect this commitment to enhancing the visitor experience. In October 2024, the resort unveiled a £15 million indoor activity complex, Playxperience, featuring nine distinct attractions including escape rooms, laser tag, a virtual reality arcade, and a combined café and bar space.
The resort also recently launched a new soft play area and puppet theatre, further expanding its offerings for families and children.
Hendry Pickup added:
“Our amazing new openings have really enhanced our guest experience. Whether you’re with the family on an action-packed holiday or enjoying a well-earned break with friends during our adult-only Big Weekenders, we guarantee plenty of incredible live performances and activities.”
The British Travel Awards are decided entirely by public vote. Those who vote will be automatically entered into a prize draw, with prizes including a £5,000 holiday to Greece, a luxury river cruise valued at over £4,000, and holiday vouchers worth up to £1,000.
Voting is open until November 1, and participants can cast their vote via the British Travel Awards website.
